Inside and Out
This adventure camp is designed for older elementary students. All parts of the camp such as the games, small groups, challenge events and worship are customized just for them. Please note that due to the unique nature of this camp, your child must have completed the 3rd grade (the minimum requirement) to be eligible to attend.
The purpose of the camp is to help children explore and experience the adventure of having a relationship with Christ. The beautiful Ocoee Retreat Center (http://ocoeeretreatcenter.com) provides an ideal place for a safe, fun and exciting camp! And it is a familiar place for many of us.
We are thrilled that our speaker this year is our own Dr. Jonathan Schwartz and his beautiful wife Larra. What a huge blessing for our students and all of us attending Camp. They have the most beautiful and fun children Ellie, Christanna and Miles! We are pumped about them coming to camp this year!
We will also have the amazing Youth staff and their summer interns coming and this will be a wonderful experience for our rising 4th-5th and 6th graders to get to know and spend time with them for the weekend.
The children will enjoy the format of our group meetings that will include large group teaching and small groups led by our volunteers. Every small group will provide a safe place to discuss the Bible lessons and work together as a team. Your son/daughter will be impacted by our A+ staff, volunteers and parents as they see Christ in them.
I am here for you! Please let me know how I can serve you better or if you have any questions.
For His glory,
Director of Children’s Ministry
