Women in Ministry

Vision – To see women growing and going in Christ

Mission – To provide strategic opportunities for women to enrich their faith in Christ through Gospel-centered community, worship, prayer, and study in order to express their faith through Gospel-centered living in the home, church, community, and world.

Philosophy – First Presbyterian Church’s Women in Ministry focuses on relationships. We believe Jesus Christ came to reconcile people to God and to each other. Whether in the context of a small group, bible study, service project, or women’s event, our desire is to see women growing I their relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. While programs are not the goal of our ministry, we believe they can help us cultivate opportunities to enrich life’s most important relationships. Certain events and programs are planned with the intent of supporting and fostering Christ-centered relationships amongst women of all ages and stages of life. At the same time, we believe that the need to express one’s faith flows out of Christ-centered relationship. Therefore, other events and programs are planned with the intent of joining Jesus in the advancement of His kingdom in our community and world.

FPC Women in Ministry embraces the ongoing goal of our church in being a loving, caring, authentic fellowship, committed to reaching out to those seeking to know Jesus, studying the Word of God, and growing in what it means to be a Christian in today’s world.

Whether you are a member of this church or the community at large, we encourage you to join us in this ministry!

Throughout the year, several different small group opportunities and events are offered. The FPC calendar will provide a current listing!
